PRE-SERIES
Goal-setting for your advocacy team
Crafting key advocacy messages, as needed
Each advocate receives a copy of Living Proof: Telling Your Story to Make a Difference, completes a brief online survey and is assigned short reading and pre-series work to begin exploring their advocacy and their stories.
The Series
Fundamentals Workshop (90 minutes with LPA Senior Coaches): Advocates learn the Five Qualities of a Well-Told Advocacy Story and, through interactive exercises and discussion, begin applying the qualities to their own stories and advocacy goals. They also are introduced to templates they can use to craft advocacy talks.
Online Support: As advocates begin crafting their talks, LPA Coaches are available to offer suggestions and review drafts.
Small-Group Workshops: One-hour live workshops provide advocates real-time, personalized coaching and assistance from LPA Coaches, reinforce organizational key messages and prepare for the nuances of diverse audiences.

Showcase/Capstone Event. A 30- to 45-minute session at which all the advocates deliver their crafted advocacy talks. This capstone moment provides an opportunity to celebrate accomplishments!
