BECAUSE THE WORK DOESN’T STOP.

As useful as awareness days, weeks and months are for focusing attention on issues, we all know it takes year-round (and in many cases, around-the-clock) work to drive positive change. That’s why we call our pro bono program LPA-BEYOND—to extend support beyond one-off events in order to help organizations with their ongoing efforts.

Each year, LPA cofounders Tim and John (along with some LPA-certified coaches) contribute time and resources to a number of organizations that are working on today’s most important issues, issues we as a company have committed to support: the arts, community, health and safety, environmentalism, equity, peace, justice and antiracism.

OUR FOCUS FOR 2024 IS ON ORGANIZATIONS IN THE ARTS AND HUMANITIES

APPLY BY SEPT. 15

Organizations of any size may apply, though we particularly encourage small and start-up groups to take advantage of the opportunity. Keep in mind that organizations must, in some way, be working to amplify voices of lived experience in order to reach their goals or achieve their missions. Selection is by lottery.

We tailor our LPA-BEYOND services to each organization’s need, but here’s a sample of support that may be provided:

  • copies of Living Proof: Telling Your Story to Make a Difference

  • coaching for a small cohort on storytelling for advocacy

  • consulting time on applying LPA principles to organization work

  • exploring board members’ and other stakeholders’ ability to advocate with their personal experiences

  • we’re open to ideas!

Have or know an organization that could benefit from LPA-BEYOND support? Tell us about it!
