February is American Heart Month. And that means the WomenHeart Champions—more than 900 women with heart disease who are sharing their stories to raise awareness, urge action and save lives—are very busy. From coast to coast these advocates are speaking in their communities and to the media, leading regional groups and empowering other women to take charge of their heart health.
Since 2002, WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease and the Mayo Clinic have provided training to champions on how to tell their heart stories with passion and impact. And we’re proud that Living Proof Advocacy has provided a foundation for that training from the very start.
