Advocacy and nonprofit organizations: How do you know the personal stories you’re telling are really making a difference?
That’s a question asked by every organization we work with. So we engaged Wilder Research to help us explore how organizations can evaluate the impact of personal stories used for advocacy. We’re excited to have recently completed the first phase of this project—a literature review and field scan (interviews with five advocacy organizations).
For a limited time you can download the research results for free. Download this 37-page document here.
Some of the questions we explored are:
What is the power of personal stories for advocacy?
How can advocates use evaluation to understand the impact of their narrative advocacy efforts using personal stories?
Why should advocates tell personal stories?
How can personal stories be most effective?
How can storytellers know the impact of their work?
